CCMA Seminar Series: Breaking Big / Breaking Out / Breaking Through
Telus Convention Centre, Glen 203+204
2:00pm-3:30pm
It’s driven by passion, and fueled by fans, but it’s called show business for a reason.
This seminar will feature a joint effort between proven industry mavericks from Big Loud & Spotify, who will each examine and break down their respective fields of expertise -- from A&R and song selection (Seth England), to touring and management (Chief Zaruk), to radio promotion (Brianne Deslippe), to the importance of streaming platforms and playlisting (John Marks).
All of these aspects are vital in breaking a new act and the more cohesive the team and strategy can be, the better chance at success for the artist.
It takes a village to break an act, and having a great team in your corner working together can help shepherd a new artist through the weeds, especially in this ever-changing climate of media consumption.
Come and learn a formula that works from a team that knows.
