CANADIAN COUNTRY MUSIC ASSOCIATION INKS DEAL WITH
IHEARTRADIO CANADA IN SUPPORT OF COUNTRY MUSIC WEEK

CCMA to announce full details of premiere fan-facing,
iHeartRadio Canada-supported event for Country Music Week later this summer

(Toronto, ON) June 28, 2018 - The Canadian Country Music Association (CCMA) is excited to release details surrounding its newly signed partnership with the #1 Canadian radio streaming service, iHeartRadio Canada. Confirmed by the CCMA’s dedicated sponsorship team (Feldman Entertainment Partnerships), the driving force behind the partnership was the desire to create a unique experiential fan event in Hamilton, ON, as a part of Country Music Week in September 2018.

Blazing the trail for the CCMA and iHeartRadio Canada collaboration is the first-annual CCMA Country Run presented by iHeartRadio. Set to get people up and moving, the interactive 5K event will see country music fans run alongside some of their favourite artists. With live, acoustic performances as its soundtrack, the event will encourage fans to dress up in their wildest country attire while running/walking the trail for a chance to win a long-list of incredible prizes.

Registration is now open via raceroster.com for $40/participant. Registration packages include a free t-shirt that participants can creatively decorate, a refueling breakfast and the unique opportunity to get up close and personal with 2018 CCMA Award nominees just 24 hours before country’s biggest night of music -- the CCMA Awards.

Fans are encouraged to follow iHeartRadio and CCMA on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook for event and festival updates.

The CCMA thanks iHeartRadio Canada for their ongoing support during the Country Music Week. For more information regarding the Canadian Country Music Association or the CCMA Awards please visit ccma.org.
