WHAT:
Country Music Week Launch Event
Every year, a tradition of the Canadian Country Music Association® (CCMA®) is to stage a launch event for Country Music Week that speaks to the host city’s community, and joins the visiting country music industry and media with local citizens and fans.

This Thursday, September 8, at 12:00 p.m., join us at Talbot Street and Covent Garden Market Square as a team of CCMA artists and acts face off against the London Knights in a street game of ball hockey!

After brief remarks from key figures, the two teams will play three five-minute periods of a fun, family friendly ball hockey game – the winner of which receives bragging rights for all of Country Music Week.

Let’s show the team spirit of the country music community in London! #LetsPlay

Don’t miss this historic event as London officially welcomes Country Music Week and the CCMA Awards Show to the city for the very first time.
