New Appointments to the CCMA Board of Directors

Bruce Anderson is one of Canada’s most accomplished public opinion and market research executives, having been CEO of Decima Research, during which time the company was twice named one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies. He has been an advisor to leaders and senior politicians in the Progressive Conservative and Liberal Parties and a leading commentator on national politics, with the Globe and Mail, CBC The National At Issue Panel, and many other news organizations. His work today includes being a partner in a specialty advertising agency he helped found, i2 Ideas and Issues Advertising and Chairman of Abacus Data, one of the country’s leading new polling enterprises. Bruce was born in Montreal, and has lived in Valleyfield, Toronto and Ottawa. He began listening to Hank Williams and Hank Snow as a little boy, and his love for country music is shared by his wife and two daughters. His typical year includes regular trips to both Nashville and Austin, and nights at Wakefield’s famed Blacksheep Inn.

A singer-songwriter, actress, model and television host, Beverley Mahood’s resume reflects a global persona, collaborating with such talents as David Foster and even performing for Royalty. An illustration of her lavish musical career, her discography includes 10 albums, countless accolades and critical acclaim. A devout philanthropist, in 2014 Beverley was recognized by the Canadian Country Music Association with the Slaight Music Humanitarian Award. In 2015 she signed with Canadian country music label MDM Recordings Inc.
