Volunteer for PotashCorp Country Music Week
Saskatoon will be welcoming Canadian country music’s biggest stars this fall as we host PotashCorp Country Music Week and the CCMA Awards Show, September 7-10, 2017. This marks the second time Saskatoon has hosted country music’s biggest week.
PotashCorp Country Music Week and the CCMA Awards Show, managed by the Canadian Country Music Association, make up a four-day music conference and community celebration, culminating in the nationally-broadcast Awards Show on Sunday, September 10.
This is one of the largest music events in Canada, with activities for fans, musicians and industry attendees, including showcase opportunities for new artists, educational seminars, and an all-day FanFest.
This awesome event is only possible through the dedication of a team of fun-loving, hard-working volunteers. We need your help! We’re currently looking for people for a wide variety of roles to help before, during and after the event.
You don’t have to work on a ranch or ride a horse, but you do need to have a great attitude and a burning desire to welcome visitors from across the country to help put on one of the biggest celebrations of the year.
To volunteer, CLICK HERE and fill out the online application.
Volunteers must be available to work a minimum of three shifts. A $30 fee is payable September 5 at volunteer orientation.
The volunteers at PotashCorp Country Music Week are a part of a highly-valued team. Though you aren’t being paid, your indispensable support is compensated in many different ways. All volunteers will receive the following:
- Access to the volunteer lounge for food and refreshments during each and every shift
- PotashCorp Country Music Week gear (a volunteer vest) that is yours to keep following the event
- Participation in an exciting volunteer orientation/recognition event
- Opportunities to gain valuable skills and make new friends
- Complimentary tickets to select PotashCorp Country Music Week events
If you have any questions or any difficulty during sign-up, please contact Shawna Nelson at volunteer@ccma.org.
