New fan-driven event for Country Music Week, CCMA Fan Village runs September 7 - 9, providing free opportunities for fans to interact with country artists

August 20, 2018 (Toronto, ON) - This just in! The Canadian Country Music Association (CCMA) is thrilled to announce the newest addition to Country Music Week: CCMA Fan Village. Brought to life with the support of iHeartRadio Canada, CCMA Fan Village will take place September 7 - 9, giving fans hours of music from their favourite artists, meet and greet opportunities, live DJ performances, access to the best food trucks Hamilton has to offer, daily giveaways and so much more! Best of all, it’s entirely free.  

Gates to this not-to-be-missed experience will open on Friday, September 7 at 5:00 p.m., providing country music fans with countless opportunities to see the best and brightest in Canadian country talent up-close-and-personal.

Officially opening its doors on Friday, September 7, CCMA Fan Village will see its first night of festivities culminate with a headlining performance by 2018 Apple Music Fans’ Choice nominee, Tim Hicks.

SiriusXM’s Top of the Country Finale, in partnership with the CCMA, features some of the next big names in country music, all battling it out for $25,000. See Jason Benoit, Andrew Hyatt and Leaving Thomas take to the stage and find out first-hand who takes home the title.

There’s no party like an iHeartRadio party! On Saturday, iHeartRadio CCMA Fan Village will be the hottest ticket in town. Starting off at a sprint, fans won’t be want to slow down once they’ve finished the first-ever CCMA Country Run presented by iHeartRadio. Stepping off the route and into an epic Pancake Breakfast, fans will also have the opportunity to take photos with artists such as Terri Clark, Tim Hicks, the Hunter Brothers, Brett Kissel, Jess Moskaluke, Meghan Patrick, Dallas Smith, The Reklaws and The Washboard Union at CCMA FanFest.

Broadcasting live from Hamilton, ON, iHeartRadio CCMA Fan Village will be host to performances by artists such as Gord Bamford, Paul Brandt, Chad Brownlee, David James, Steven Lee Olsen and Tenille Townes.

Warming up with the CCMA Sweat Session and live performances by Andrew Hyatt and JoJo Mason, September 9 will be chock-full of excitement -- from the CCMA Countdown Concert to the CCMA Red Carpet and the 2018 CCMA Awards Show, fans are encouraged to arrive early so they don’t miss a thing.
