Gordon Burnett

BIOGRAPHY:
Gordon Burnett is the epitome of the world builder.
Throughout an illustrious 47 year career in broadcasting, he devoted the time and energy to craft and help to build the ACME (Academy of Country Music Entertainment) with his wife Suzanne Rochon-Burnett, which is the forerunner of the current Canadian Country Music Association as it exists today.
Mr. Burnett was best known in country radio for the launch of CHOW in Welland in the late 1970's. Mr. Burnett is also a past President of the CCMA (1981-83).
Gordon Burnett passed away on April 25, 2015.
