BIOGRAPHY:

Starting his venture in Victoria, British Columbia in 1969 as Prestige Entertainment Agencies Ltd., founder and President Paul Mascioli was forced to move his office to Vancouver as the business experienced a dynamic growth period.

After many successful years, in 1991 the company’s name was changed to Mascioli Entertainment Corporation – a full service entertainment company offering artist management and booking for conventions, casinos, arenas, theatres, nightclubs, fairs, festivals and special events – and again moved offices, this time to Nashville, Tennessee. While there, Paul orchestrated the promotional efforts and finalized the negotiations that led to major recording deals for management clients, including Lisa Brokop and Ian Tyson.

With the addition of two publishing companies in 1993, Paul developed and implemented leadership and business strategies that were instrumental in building this company into a successful, international enterprise. Whether dealing with managed artists or the senior representatives of national acts, Paul’s knowledge and buying power allowed Mascioli Entertainment’s clients quick decisions on availability and competitive pricing.

After Paul’s son joined the Nashville operation in 1996, together they moved the office to Orlando Florida, where Paul continued his active role as an artist manager for Mascioli Entertainment, in addition to joining T. Skorman Productions Inc., serving as Senior Vice President until January 2003. Mascioli Entertainment moved offices in 2003, and again in 2009 when they moved into their permanent office in Orlando where they now conduct their world-wide talent negotiations.

Paul Mascioli was an advisor to the CCMA Board of Directors from 1983-85, director from 1985-86, and was selected to serve as co-chairman of Country Music Week in 1987, where his leadership efforts led to the Canadian Country Music Industry’s first ever, nationally televised and live awards show on the CTV Network. In the same year, Paul won the CCMA Booking Agent of the Year Award. In addition, Paul was elected CCMA President from 1986-90.
