Jackie Rae Greening

  • Inducted into the Canadian Country Music Hall of Fame in 2018

Past Chair of the CCMA and a member of the Board of Directors from 2004-2010, Greening has won four CCMA Awards and is also an Alberta Country Music Hall of Fame inductee. Greening has consistently demonstrated her dedication to advancement of country music in Canada, elevating the careers of countless artists.


Beginning her radio career in 1982, Greening worked at radio stations across Alberta through to 1989 when she landed at CFCW Radio. Heading into her third decade at the station in 2019, Jackie Rae continues to be a driving force at CFCW in her position of Program Director and Manager of Operations for Newcap Radio in Edmonton, Camrose, Wetaskiwin.


Outside of radio, Greening’s passion lies in volunteering. Locally she has been the Chairperson for many events; Country Music Week, The Ford World Curling Championships, The Olympic Curling Trials and the Alberta Women’s Curling Championship.   She is also Past Chair of the CapitalCare Foundation and currently sits on the Board of the Hec Gervais Scholarship Foundation and The Steadward Centre 40th Anniversary Celebration. This exceptional level of community involvement earned her the 2007 Global Woman of Vision Award.
